Unfortunately that is the risk we all have to take as gardeners/farmers when growing tomatoes,potatoes,and other vegetable plants that are susceptible to this. Best thing we can do is keep in touch with our county agent so he can alert us when we need to start spraying to prevent this from happening.
One thing I have stopped doing is foliar feeding my plants, instead I spray directly into the soil around the plant. I'm not saying foliar feeding causes blight but I do feel it adds to the ability for the spores to attach to the plant. IMO

Yup. I wish we could have a little less rain here. It is hot but just raining too many times in a week. If my plants can make it till July maybe they'll have a chance. July is usually pretty dry here.

Send me all your excess rain. I have received a whopping 1 1/4 inches since April. We are down almost 6 inches since January 1st.
