with all this heat and moisture my tomatos are doing great.. I'm not sure but i think the skins are thicker and tougher than usual. Has anyone noticed this? It doesn't matter when cooking cuz i remove the skin. During mater season we have sliced maters with every meal.... The skin is starting to bug me., i guess i just wondered if it was all in my head or if anyone else noticed.

Nope, heat does that. Then you get a rain and that thick skin splits wide open, I hate that.

Not a problem here, but the temps have been higher then normal but very dry, we have picked about a bushel and 1/2 so far no thick skins. Could be the verity.
