Hey Rita,
I read about this not to long ago.Not sure how Mr. Miller is doing with this.It is a load of horse hockey and should never have been started in the first place.Gonna do some digging to see if there are any updates.

I cant get you tube, what is it? They fined an organic gardener 5000 bucks for farming on tooo much of his land he had friends that would come help him ect. he would sell at farmers markets .. so they considered it a farm and he was not zoned for that ..

Two acres of crops ? Amazing ! Geez , he could bankrupt China , the world or even the USA....... Maybe , dropping some "earmarks" would be more useful..... n/c beyond dat.... ....Heck , it sounded like he gave most of his produce away.....maybe we should give our politicians away ? (Oops , I may be using logic..............). 'Scuse me........

This grower has been growing for 15 years. Makes one wonder where the tomato cops have been all these years. I can just about bet that he has a new (do gooder) neighbor. There are some people that just can't leave other people alone. Or maybe they felt like they didn't get there share of free tomatoes and are pissed off. I am with Cavey don't piss me off. CF

I've done a little research on it. Have been following this for sometime. At least 5-6 months. I hesitate to say much as you never know if what you read it true or not and also I'm sure some of what I've found is solely speculation. Everything I've read is all the neighbors are 100% behind him. Two different possible reasons for the sudden enforcement is a new gung ho inspector and also another possibility I read was another grower at the farmers market reported him.It might be a combination. He has received the needed approval now. But they still want to fine him for the time before he received the approval. When the changes were made and he received the approval all fines ect should of been dropped. As he should of received a warning and gave ample time to become compliant. Another case of gov't overstepping their bounds and possible an inspector trying to bring in money to their dept. Again I want to stress I feel most of this info is speculation. I found part of it on comment sections of newspapers ect. So just one persons opinion and may not all be factual. So please take it like that. Jay
