Tomato's are a good companion for peppers .. avoid beans, kale (cabbage, brussels sprouts, etc)

Was just wondering what would make a good companion plant for peppers? We have planted Coriander (cilantro)in between the pepper plants to repel aphids...had Not a single leaf suckin creature all season, also good for tator beetle ... Best to harvest before the seeds mature...or you'll have A LOT of cilantro next year
