Hi! I'm new here as this afternoon. I have a question concerning Carpathian walnut leaves. In the Fall I collect as many leaves from our lawn area as possible and till them into the veg. garden. I've been avoiding collecting leaves from the two Carpathian walnut trees I have for fear of them containing Juglone, the inhibiting substance in Black Walnuts. Does anyone know if the C. walnuts contain Juglone or if it is OK to use these leaves for soil improvement? Thanks, and this is a really nice site.

First thank-you..from what I read it is still toxic but not as toxic as the black walnut!! All tree's in that family have that toxicity.
