I need some more help ? If you could only plant 5 or 6 herbs which would they be and why ?

Culinary: Basil, parsley, and dill, since these are favorite herbs for cooking. I freeze fresh basil so the flavor isn't changed by drying. I've tried to raise oregano several times without much success. Peppermint for tea and spearmint for tea and cooking.
Medicinal: Mostly aimed at the symptoms of colds and flu, the most common ailments in these parts. Purple coneflower root strengthens the immune system. The flowers and leaves of great mullein help relieve congestion, and thyme and horehound for coughs. I don't actually raise mullein, since it grows wild in the meadow. JT

My choice would be
Parsley Mint Thyme Lemon balm Rosemary
Simply cos they're the ones I use the most.

I got a really nice package in the mail today that had some different herbs in it mabey you all can tell me a lil bout them ? Sorrel Lime Basil Purple Osmin Basil Cinnamon Basil Chamomile Peppermint

Well DLD, do you know what kind of Sorrel? Sheep Sorrel is a great medicinal.
Chamomile is a great relaxing herb.
Watch the peppermint will take over an area quite quickly.

Mine are rosemary, basil, parsley, chives, thyme for cooking. Chamomile for tea. trudy
