Pholks, Not that I would order anything from most the seed catalogs we get... But, I was reading one (Cooks Garden) If We had a greenhouse big enough...we could CASH IN... that catalog, is selling 3 organic plants (of anything..peppers, tomatoes, herbs, etc.) for 13.95 another is selling 3 for 12.95... Guess we been givin our plants away in the spring at 2 bux a piece what Ya'll think of that price??

It's a good price IF you can get it. I always wonder who pays that much for plants but somebody must be or the ads would go away.

Phil I think it *could be* afluensa. It *could be* the Americanism of buying our way into anything. Some of us were trained to build our way in. All I can do is sit back and wonder.

I think they are crazy, Phil yall could probly get a tad more than 2 bux. Even Wal- Mart is outrageous on their plants. You should charge a little more.

Local garden centers have been selling six packs for 2 bucks. The Bonnie Plants in peat pots IMO are highway robbery. I can get a real nice plant in a one gallon pot for 5.99 at the local greenhouses. The sad thing is people go to Wally World all for the sake of convenience. That's why people like Burpee etc get so much for their plants.Folks that are not close to a locally owned garden center will opt for one of two choices.Start their own or have them shipped in. I cringe at these high prices and wonder how these folks sleep at night knowing the prices customers could be getting their plants for.
