Can y'all recommend any particular varieties that have great resistance to powdery mildew and fusirium wilt? Sorta out of my ballpark bro, for the most part we raise heirlooms and not a lot of heirlooms have any resistance at all.. I can link you up to a good resource here>> Summer/Winter Squash Disease Resistance Prevention is Our defense Dld, I spray all crops prone to powdery before conditions get right for it to develop with 1 cup Peroxide (regular brown bottle strength) to 1 gallon of water..the next day.. I use 1 pint of milk (2% is what I use) to a gallon.... Everything in the garden prone to disease gets a prevenitive spraying... That, coupled with a weekly hose end application of compost tea and molasses...keeps most everything safe, and makes everything very healthy... the compost tea and the molasses alone can guard against fungal infections and disease Fusarium is best kept in check by crop rotation, removal of all garden debris at seasons end, and sanitation (unless you want to apply harsh chemicals) Soak seeds in peroxide (full strength) over night b4 planting.. Spray peroxide full strength on the area you are planting...turn the soil, spray again...plant... Water deep once a week, instead of a little water..often Avoid overhead watering....
