Golden queen tomato .. Tomato Supply Company's Description:
(Yellow) Distinctly different from other Golden Queens commonly
sold, this is from a strain obtained from the USDA seed bank,
bbbbband is the original Golden Queen described by the seedsman
Livingston in 1882. Tomatoes are 8 to 12 ozs. and yellow with
a pronounced pink blush on the blossom end extending up towards
the stem end. What makes this one better than the common solid
yellow Golden Queen is its superior flavor. Itiis delicious,
with a full tomato taste that is also sweet and most pleasant.
Indeterminate. 75 days.
Mortgage lifter tomato
Mortgage Lifter will yield fruit 80 days after transplanting.
When harvesting the heavy fruits, cut the stem above the fruit,
rather than pulling, to avoid tearing the flesh.
Belgium Giant Tomato
85 days. Lycopersicon esculentum.
Plant produces good yields of huge 2 lb to 5 lb dark pink beefsteak
tomatoes. Tomatoes are very sweet, are meaty, and turn dark pink
when mature. A low acidity tomato that is excellent for salads,
sandwiches, and canning. So huge you only need one slice per sandwich.
A heirloom variety from Ohio, USA.
Kellog Breakfast tomato
85 days, indeterminate — Huge (up to twenty ounces), oblate shaped,
orange fruit, with a wonderful flavor.
Principe Borghese tomato
75 days, determinate —
Italian heirloom variety very popular in Italy and California for
splitting in half and sun drying. They maintain color and flavor well.
The plants produce heavy yields of small, red plum-shaped fruits.
The plants will benefit from support such as caging.
Pruden's Purple Heirloom Tomato
was developed from the Brandywine heirloom tomato. Many folks find
this tomato variety comparable in every way to the favorite Brandywine.
It has even ranked higher at times in my taste trials. Great for hot day
and cool night climate. Large potato leaf vine produces lots of 1-lb.,
slightly flattened, pretty, blemish-free, purple-pink fruits with few
tomato seeds and excellent flavor.
Purple calabash tomato
A beautiful, drought tolerant variety producing small to medium
(2 1/2 to 3-inch), flat, deeply ruffled, chocolate-brown to deep-purple
fruit. Intensely rich, almost wine-like flavor. Crack resistant and
stores well. A winner!!
Big Rainbow Tomato
This spectacular heirloom tomato was in 1990. originally from Polk County,
MN. Our TomatoFest organic seeds produce big, sprawling, indeterminate,
regular-leaf tomato plants that yield moderate to large crops of 1-2 lb.
rib-shouldered bi-colored beefsteak tomatoes with gold flesh with beautiful
red streaks running throughout. As fruits ripen they have a rainbow
appearance: greens on the shoulder, yellow, orange, gold in the middle,
and red on the blossom end. Fruit often has dynamic red splotches inside
and on bottom. Very juicy and fruity sweet. Good disease resistance.
A late producer. Great for slicing thick into sandwiches or salads
