My pepper plants are getting too big for the pots, and was wondering what is the lowest temp they can stand and still survive? Our 10 day forecast says the lowest temp would be around 40F, will they survive that if I planted them in the garden?

They would survive Bro, but may be set back, and may be late to produce anything. But the air temps could be dealt with by placing a cage around them, and plastic to raise the air temperature
The main concern is Ground temperature... If the soil is below 55° the plants will not only sit there and do nothing for a few weeks, they could be damaged and produce poorly.. Get yourself something larger to pot em up in if your ground temp is below 55°
Side note:
Some say ground temp of 50°...but I have had poor luck anywhere below 60°

Have they been hardened off? If not, now would be a very good time
