Duke(Bub's pup) on tues. 22, was not his over-active self and was not eating. Darrell was also very sick. Me and Mom both had had the flu. Darrell went to the Dr on Wed. he had bronchitis. Duke was still lethargic and not eating. So we tried everything to get him to eat. Then on Thur. we took him to the vet. he did a parvo test and sd it was not parvo, gave him a shot and gave us d-wormers and antibiotics and told us to give him pedialyte. We had d-wormed him already. But we tried to give him his meds and his pedialyte. He fit us like a mad bull. And he would throw up with in a min or 2. So, Sat. Bub woke me up, he had diarrhea and wasn't moving. We called the vet and met him in town and guess what, he had Parvo. he gave him another shot and told us to give him pedialyte. But he died before we got to the drug store to get it. It is so lonesome without him. We buried him beside little Jack.

I'm very sorry Lucy. I'm so very sorry. I was at the vet this past week with my pup. There was a couple in there ahead of me. The man and his wife were crying. The woman at the desk came out and just hugged on both of them as they cried. They'd just lost one of their dogs the week before, and the 2nd died that day. After they left, the lady at the vet said that they went EVERYWHERE with those dogs. My heart broke for them. Hang in there girl.

It's one of the harderst things in the world to lose a pet! Hope things are starting to get better.
