6a, SE-OH
Because I've always had one
Not that much, my ability to expand is pretty limited here.
Ohioan clay.
Bonsai, tomato, corn.
Fetching manure, I'm not that mobil.
Morning coffee and weeding tour. That, and conversations with my bonsai.
Yes.
Annuals just about all from seed, Woody plants-either, seed or bought/bartered seedlings.
I won't chase them away, also don't bring up garden till people ask.

Coppice, I like your last answer about the garden. wish Ours weren't so IN the yard...so folks would havta ask... we have a gravel road on the east side, of the proerty... a county highway on the north edge of the property When I was active in the Master Gardening program, folks, mostly groups of school kids, their parents...would come for a tour and to get garden tips...not so much nowadays tho.. But since we peddle plants and produce, we get gardeners..and gardeners are always curious... folks driving by tho slow way down, some stop...and GAWK a lot... prices being what they are today, I gotta keep an EYE on those drive bys...

For safe food, for value and affordable food, for healthy food and for fun

The occasional cold wind off the sea and it aint big enough.

Keeping up with the weeds.

To be working in the soil with the sun on my back ans the sounds of the sae and the birds in my ears.

Nope. I don't like to skite, especially about the amount and size of things, like my weeds. Besides, I do most of my composting the way God set it up to be done, on the soil, like I just drop the weeds and tops or outside leaves where I pick me vegies from.

The garden here is away from street. So its easy to miss. Bonsai are also in back yard, and I hope dis-honorable people Won't see them. Most bonsai theft is on impulse, which means they die of lack of care
