Hay, welcome back. Was kinda wondering what had happened to you and Ruth. Figgered you guys may have moved, to a warmer climate, and didn't have your trusty 'puter' up and working yet.

No bro we are still here in NJ trying to make a go at Organic Farming. Got two puters now so it makes things better and no excuses.

Bro...that was a big bird, but I suspect it wasn't free ranged or fed natural... it was a 4H project for the county fair, looked like it was on steroids yeah them wyandotte's be a good, and pretty breed of chicken...Dad and Mom had those and R.I. Red's and leggrens(Longhorns) You should go with Jersey Giant's bro ifin ya want Phreezer Philings...they a big ol bird we should get some next spring... butcher em' while Laura's @ work

Phil: You aint the first person to suggest Jersey Giants, and is our plan to do both....harvest eggs and utilize the meet that is. I guess it's a tossup right now. I know what yer saying about butcherin the birds though Ruth doesn't want any part of that...doesn't bother me none

Welcome back JC!!! I thought you were in the process of moving too glad your back We were christy but the market being what it is....it just isn't possable and we haven't been able to find something that we can feel comfertable with. We also have invested a lot of time and effort to this place and things are starting to workout as far as organic farming is concerned.
