I was wondering how many of us have proposed to our spouses in strange places or situations. Me? I proposed to my now spouse from a stage at one of our local parks were she was teaching a show dog handling class. Yes it caught her by surprise. There was a little girl there that followed me back to my car, and said. "Do you think she will say YES" I answered her by saying. I certainly hope so. Well the rest is history. Aha Love is grand.

Very cute story!
Me... I proposed to my wife in the elevator at our local library. That library was where we had one of our first "dates." It was just her and I in the elevator. I got down on one knee. Then the doors opened, and some random dude got on. I stayed kneeling, figuring he'd get the hint and leave....nope. So, I just waited there (kneeling) until he got off on the next floor. As he was walking out, he smiled and said "good luck." And the rest is history.... a little over 10 years ago.

Gidday
Well in February 1965 I met this sheila at a dance. I took her home, asked for a date the following Wednesday, then the next Saturday then the following Wednesday then on the following Saturday, exactly two weeks after our first meeting I asked he to marry me.
Still going too.
