Awhile back we were having an ongoing problem with a possum visiting the front porch almost nightly and leaving "presents" (possum poop) all over after emptying the cat's water dish, etc. - borrowed a humane trap from a relative - baited it with a little cat food. The cat (we call him JT) who adopted us figured "Well dadgum, I've got these humans trained pretty good - leaving out a little extra chow for later" - Within 15 minutes of setting the trap for the first time, he decided he wanted a little snack. I heard the trap spring, and went outside - I have never seen a cat with such a look of embarassment on its face Had to preserve that "kodak moment"....He hasn't gone near the trap since, LOL! Oh, and we did catch (and relocate far, far away) the possum a few nights later using a can of sardines as bait.... If only tweety was there "I taught I taw a putty tat" I did I did. Silly puty.
