Since I'm not smart enough to figure out how to start my own thread I'll just do it here. The butter crunch lettuce has loved this weird weather.

O yeah, we have been enjoying fresh greens for some time now, just yesterday I had a beautiful spinich, red leaf, swiss chard and kale for lunch. Definitely no GMOs here.

Christy, that fence started out as wood. Then we got Andy, our mastiff, so we put the field wire inside the wood. He bent through that easily. So we put several rows of hard wire that will only bend with a special tool - if you're a human that is. He just pushed it down with his paw, bent out the field wire and got out. So.... we now have chain link inside all of that. So far so good.

My lettuce (not sure of kind) Is bolting .. It comes up every year like a hardy lil plant Love it! Look at them Maters!! Wow!

Sherri, chainlink sounds better for dogs I love the wood look for the fence but somthing to keep the dogs in, and grow morning glories up would be nice!

Sadly the squash isn't doing well. I'm not sure if it's too much rain, not enough rain, squash bugs, the insecticidal soap I sprayed on them for bugs or what. I'm down to 5 plants right now but who knows what happens in the garden at night.

Or.. can describe the symptoms.....We all might be able to diagnose the problem
