You got it. Neither of the two deer were concerned with us AT ALL! I only took a couple of shots of the doe but got 14 shots of the buck.

Yeah you can totally see the unconcerned look in his face .. almost checkin ya out .. .. Very pretty shots!! What kind of camera do you use? you really get some awesome pictures!!

Round these parts it's almost like the deer know when it's hunting season and when it's not. Over all, the deer are not too afraid of people. It's not unusual to see them roaming around town, in peoples yards, eating their flower & vegetable gardens ect. We have an abundance of white tails in this area.
Phil, these were on the bluff slope on river road very near the Yacht Club. I took the photos from the truck window! Stayed in the middle of the road for ten minutes making traffic go around while photographing.
Rita, the camera is a Canon Rebel XTI. We have a couple of different lenses but these were shot through a 75-300mm Canon lens. Same lens I use for the eagle photos.
