Sadly, many horses around here are being taken from owners for neglect....just this week, another 34 of them taken to the sheriffs place...they will be cared for and adopted, owners jailed for neglect...lots of donkeys being abandoned...sad, hay is so expensive, money is tight all over....

lots of folks have horses that they can't feed, yet you couldn't tell that hay prices were high here...judging by the price they want to purchase any horse... yet, I guess in the scheme of things...hay isn't that high here.. alfalfa is around 3 bux for a small bale Good first cutting grass hay we get for 15 bux for a big round bale...

Cool storys Cavy Lucky for the horse it was put in the kitchen, even luckier the people saw it as a blessing instead of a sign of there next food source horse's use to be big around here, we still have the 4H club, the county fair shows, n Mel Blunt have horse shows once a year. people from all over come to that..
