55 miles per hour, don't even think about it. How about this. CF Texas opened a 41-mile stretch of State Highway 130 today with a new speed limit of 85 miles per hour — the highest legal limit in the U.S. The new stretch of highway, part of a toll road also called the Pickle Parkway between Austin and San Antonio, is aimed in part at relieving congestion that is typical on Interstate 35, the main road between the two cities.

That's my kinda speed limit there CF...70 tops here on interstate...and it's flatter than a pancake here...and the roads are straight as a pin... speed limit could easily be 80

Back in early 60's I was in Nevada, the state had NO max speed limit on the open road at that time. Just had to slow down when you'd see signs close to a town.

Actually they used to be etin a lot. Very fatty I believe.
But there are quite a few people who just wouldn't think it was very funny and would probably go tell the law on you iffin they saw you eatin them. It is now considered naughty.
