My sister and brother-in-law Jan and Noah, bought some land just up the road from us. He built a cabin. It is not complete. I love to take Dan on a walk and go up there and head through the woods by the creek. It is so peaceful. Noah came in a few wks ago and put windows and door on it and told Jan to give me a key. I felt so honored. So, a couple wks ago, I decide to take that walk and I take my key, so I can check it out. I get up there and there is a rocking chair on the porch. I sat there and listened to the creek and the birds. It was wonderful.

Is anyone else having a problem trying to enlarge the pic. I click on it, and about 1/4" downloads, then it stops.

CP, nope, it loaded completely in .33 seconds... the load time is quick considering the size of the pic (2136 x 1424) these tests are from an Independent Load speed application LINK >> I Web
NOTE:
THIS IS THE LOAD TIME ON THE WEB.. VIA this Test site, Not my personal load speed..
or to say, this is how fast ANYONE should be able load the page....The pictures link: (it loaded in a 1/2 second for me so I'm a lil slow this morning) And This is the internet load speed for the Whole Phorum: (the whole phorum loaded at this speed for me too )
 Oh and Lucy...I'd say that's a darn nice hideout to listen to the world around You  ...Is that a FOR SALE sign  |

Ohhh your dog LOVES the water doesn't he? You sure give him a wonderful life , taking all these walks and stuff!! I don't even know him and can see how he just loves it!! Can you hear the water setting on the porch? I love the sound of water , we have the pond Dave built with a water fall, when he plugs that in in the spring it just makes me smile because of the sound!! |

Listening to the creek running is one of my favorite things about the place. I went up today and walked in the woods, then came back and rested on the porch and listened to it. I feel a little guilty that I get to enjoy their place whenever I want and they have to live in Ohio and work all the time. But I feel he wanted me to enjoy it, or he wouldn't have given me a key. And yes,Dan loves the water and the walks and hikes. He is such a wonderful companion.

Ohhh Lucy thats wonderful!! Don't feel to guilty about enjoying it. We have a cabin up north we gave a neighbor a key. It sure helps to know someone can be there and keeps an eye on the place for us when we are gone. So not only are you enjoying your self but you are also helping them out by checking on it and really just being there once in a while....

We are about 500' from a tributary of the Manasquan River.....not close enough to hear it. I love the sound of the water myself. Beautiful place!! |
