I want to install a hose to go around in a "W" formation with 20 or so emitters for water. This for my container garden. Has anybody here had experience with this gear? What about sources for supplies on the web? Thanks Pholks for any info.

Mo, I have used lots of irrigation stuff. We used to irrigate every thing when I was farming. If you are wanting to water pots, you can get emitters that will plug into the black polly hose. Most any irrigation and some feed and hardware stores carry this supplies. Be sure and get pressure composited emitters. This just means that they will emit the same amount of water, at any given time. Soaker hose does not work. CF You might also check with some of the green house people. They might have some old stuff that was used in hanging pots. Maybe even for free.CF

Mogarden: Drip irrigation is something we have used here for quite some time as well, the type we use is called drip tape for row crop, the system we use utilizes a regulator and header to connect our drip lines to, enabling us to also feed our plants threw the drip tape with liquid fish or kelp or compost tea. In your case I know you are using a different delivery system in containers. Go to www.dripworks.com you can get some good ides from the site that may help you choose the right system for you particular needs.

Mogarden: As luck would have it I just received a catalog from Drip Works with all there different systems. They have all sorts of parts and materials for drip irrigation. I will say they seam a bit more expensive then the people I deal with in PA, but you can get a lot of information from there catalog.
