We had Corned beef I didn't get to the cabbage. MAby today but corned beef potatoes carrots onions Yummy! So Caveman how did you make your Mc. Caveman dinner? Did you boil it? I usually do, This year I roasted it. I wrapped the meat in foil put it in the pot. with some onions and carrots added some broth. Just put it on 250º and let it cook all day. It was sooooo tender.

My hubbs made pastrami with it last year LOVED it! Looks like he cooked it just like those other pics. Altho I think he put it in the smoker

French onion soup......man i love that stuff........now i got the munchies. maroast Cavey- you always have the munchies Last night was Pinto Beans cooked with a ham bone, little green onions, and jalapeno cheddar cornbread with buttermilk to drink.... 2706 so good! I had buttermilk with leftover cornbread crumbled in for breakfast

What is your recipe? you are a great cook!! 2706 I do I bastardize the heck out of all recipe's anyhow for 2 I usually caramelize 4 sliced onions .. when those are done add about 1/4 cup red wine deglaze the pan with that add 2 cans beef broth a few drops of worschiworsestsch stuff a pinch of thyme a few bay leaves extra beef bullion if needed or wanted and pepper thats about it course the bread and cheese .. I don't float it because I don't like soggy cheese I usually brown the bread and then melt the cheese on that
