My husband is a plumber and sometimes he has to order special parts. Over the last year his parts have been delivered, by the US mail, to our neighbors house, strangers houses, and sometime not even delivered at all. A few weeks ago he went to the post office, paid for priority mail with a return receipt with signature, the parcel was late and to this day we have not received the return signature receipt. The package was indeed delivered and signed for because he's talked to the person but where the return signature receipt is we have no idea. So yesterday he ordered something, decided to use Fed Ex, paid for overnight delivery, supposed to be here by 1:30 with a signature required. I started tracking the package this morning and it was received in Pineville (30 minutes away) at 7:32 AM, put on the delivery truck at 8:54 AM to be delivered by 1:30PM. When I tracked it at 1:30PM, the actual wording "1:30PM" had been removed and all it said was "in transit". I have been here all day, looking out the window, waiting to sign for the package. At 5:03PM I looked out the window and saw the Fed Ex truck coming up the drive. Before I could get my shoes on and get down the stairs to open the door to sign for the package he was backing out of the drive. The driver had left the package laying on an uncovered side porch in the rain without getting a signature.
Guess we'll try UPS next.

That reminds me I have a package at the post office that they didn't deliver because our driveway was not plowed , funny I have two other packages delivered that same day. One from fed ex, one from UPS. They had no problem getting in our drive! Another funny I get all my sleep apnea stuff delivered in the mail by ups. I was waiting waiting and waiting for it! They put it on the front porch! We have the walk way blocked off! They went around and put it in the front porch anyway! Have no idea when it was delivered. when you pull in our driveway our back door is right there! Why they would go around the barrier is beyond me! Ding bats!

I had to laugh, ("not a funny laugh") but a disgusted laugh, only because I have had to deal with exactly the same problems with the postal mail here and fed-ex also. They both suck!! I caught my neighbor throwing my mail away when it was delivered to him by planting mail in his box after suspecting that that was what was happening. UPS is the most reliable company to use hands down. So in a sick way it's nice to hear I'm not the only one dealing with these inept Jackasses.

You guys know who my neighbors are, MS 13, and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't give us our mail if they ended up with it.
