We purchased a GPS a couple years ago. It needed updating. Got free updates for as long as we own it. So, I open up the website, register it and hook it up. Downloaded updated maps. We go on a trip the other day, only for it to say "no maps". GRRRR! I have been on here all night trying to find out how to fix it. But no luck.
Is there a number on the site you can call for help?
It must be that time of year because we received a letter from Honda about updating our GPS. When I went to the site to order the update I found that it's not for voice activated systems which mine is. I called and asked if there's another update for voice activated systems and the lady told me that my 2012 Accord was NOT voice activated. We argued back and forth for a minute until I told her that I definitely know that it is and she told me that I need to call my dealership and find out that it definitely is NOT. I hung up but did call my dealership who looked me up and it definitely IS. So I don't even have an option for an update.
I use the GPS on my phone. But don't think they are the smartest either. I was up north going to walmart and it took me past walmart to a spot where the river was and nothing but houses! Ughhh so on my way back I was so ticked! I was about out of gas stopped and duhh there was Walmart right across the street! It took me 5 miles to nowhere! LOL Most of the time it's right on the dot tho!
