We purchased a GPS a couple years ago. It needed updating. Got free updates for as long as we own it. So, I open up the website, register it and hook it up. Downloaded updated maps. We go on a trip the other day, only for it to say "no maps". GRRRR! I have been on here all night trying to find out how to fix it. But no luck.

Is there a number on the site you can call for help?
It must be that time of year because we received a letter from Honda about updating our GPS. When I went to the site to order the update I found that it's not for voice activated systems which mine is. I called and asked if there's another update for voice activated systems and the lady told me that my 2012 Accord was NOT voice activated. We argued back and forth for a minute until I told her that I definitely know that it is and she told me that I need to call my dealership and find out that it definitely is NOT. I hung up but did call my dealership who looked me up and it definitely IS. So I don't even have an option for an update.

Those are the reasons we always use an Atlas.

Those are the reasons we always use an Atlas. Cavey, we always used an Atlas too. But we went to Chattanooga and the traffic was crazy and there was no time to read an Atlas and we got a GPS as soon as we got home. |

I use google maps on my phone .. I never had a GPS .. But back in the day .. we used state maps ..

I've used google maps on my phone too but sometimes it's just easier to use the GPS. My husband bought one at Target for $99.00 and it works better than the one in my car.

I use the GPS on my phone. But don't think they are the smartest either. I was up north going to walmart and it took me past walmart to a spot where the river was and nothing but houses! Ughhh so on my way back I was so ticked! I was about out of gas stopped and duhh there was Walmart right across the street! It took me 5 miles to nowhere! LOL Most of the time it's right on the dot tho!

I don't have a smartphone,Bub does but he is not always with us. I reconnected the gps and it downloaded the maps! yay!

Tried the GPS today and it worked correctly! My Mommy had never seen one, she was amazed.
