I made a vew jars the last couple of days. I think it turned out pretty good! This is the recipe I used. 5 cup(s) grape juice 1/3 cup(s) pectin 7 cup(s) sugar Preparation 1. pour juice into 8 quart saucepot 2. measure the sugar into a seperate bowl. 3. stir pectin into juice in saucepot. add 1/2 teaspoon butter or margarine to reduce foaming, if desired 4.bring mixture in saucepot to a full rolling boil (a boil that doesn't stop bubbling when stirred) on high heat, stirring constantly 5.stir in sugar quickly. return to full rolling boil and boil exactly one minute, stirring constantly. remove form heat. skim off any foam. 6.ladle quickly into prepared jars.. I used the No sugar pectin so I was able to cut the sugar to 4 cups. Yummy!

Oh yea baby! Yup we have 2 grape plants. Last year gave the grapes to my daughter the year before they went to the birds. This year I patiently waited and then said OMG it's time! So yes I used our home grown grapes and wow! It's wonderful!

I'll bet. Are your grapes seedless? Nope, I boiled them. Then put it thru a wire mesh to get the seeds and skins out.

We made grape jelly last week & it turned out Amazing! We also have to use the straining method..our grapes were not seedless..but it turned out so nice & we did nothing except cook the juice down with the required sugar!
