I can't remember for sure but I think I froze 18 pint jars and I'm porking through them fast. I love this stuff. I eat it every morning on toast and sometimes at night on crackers. Sure hope my strawberries do well next year. Just call me porky.

Oh my!! Lol I love stuff on crackers! I havn't been eating toast, because I am not supposed to use the same toaster that regular bread is toasted in. But the other day I found some toaster bags I can put my bread in the bag and toast it. Yay!

is that less expensive than buying another toaster? Well in the long run no. But I don't eat toast very often and they are reusable. I haven't even used them yet. I don't know how many are in there but I payed 5 bucks for them. I'd have to get 2 toasters, one for here and 1 for up north. I'd have to hide them from Dave and others that go up there. Or post a note "GF only" on it. Here I don't really have a spot for it. I have a great spot for one up north. Now I am getting hungry for toast!

Hi Granny Diane I'll should wait for the author (bestoFour) to reply...because I bet it's but maybe two strawberry freezer Jam recipes wouldn't be bad Source: Ball Blue bookStrawberry Freezer Jam - Classic PectinMakes about 5 (8 oz) half pints2 cups crushed strawberries (about 2 1lb containers) 2 Tbsp lemon juice 4-1/2 cups sugar 3/4 cup water 6 Tbsp Ball RealFruit Classic Pectin 5 Ball® Plastic (8 oz) Freezer Jars or 8 oz half pint glass jars with lids and bands Directions: COMBINE prepared fruit* with lemon juice in a large bowl. Add sugar, mixing thoroughly. Let stand 10 minutes. COMBINE water and Ball RealFruit Classic Pectin in a small saucepan. Bring to a full rolling boil that cannot be stirred down, stirring constantly. Boil hard for 1 minute, continuing to stir. ADD cooked pectin mixture to fruit mixture stir for 3 minutes. LADLE freezer jam into clean Ball® freezer jars leaving 1/2 inch headspace. Apply caps and let jam stand in refrigerator until set, but no longer than 24 hours. Serve immediately, refrigerate up to 3 weeks or freeze up to 1 year *To Prepare Strawberries: Hull and crush one layer at a time using a potato masher.

Thanks! I'm off work Tuesday so I'll make some then. I joined a Fruit Club and got 10 pounds of fresh organic strawberries tonight. I'll need to use them soon. I would hate to have them spoil!

I seriously thought about taking a picture then thought no one really wants to look at jars of jelly so they're in the freezer. When I take out a jar I'll post a picture.

is that less expensive than buying another toaster? For some reason, reminds me of this Joke. One day Rabinowitz wakes up,there is a clap of thunder, clouds part, and a voice booms out.RABINOWITZ! This is God.You are a good man, loved your family, humble,Ive decided to let you win the lottery. Rab replies, thank you Lord,Thank you! But weeks go by,months, and still he hasnt won. So feeling despair,Rab gets on his knees, looks to the sky and says meekly...Lord? Ive been good, but still havent won.Did I do something wrong, why are you trying me? Thunder claps, the clouds part and a voice booms out! RABINOWITZ!! BUY A TICKET!!!

What the heck,got another one.
There are two English explorers who are captured by a tribe of SAVAGES.They are tied to stakes while the natives dance around them.
The Chief appears...the crowd Falls silent. The Chief says to the first guy,you have TWO choices.....Baka,...or DEATH!
The guy doesnt know what Baka is,but it has to be better than death. So he says...I'll take Baka.
The Chief says HE CHOOSES BAKA!! The Native all go OOooooo!
So they untie him,and 99 natives all sodomize him, then throw him to the ground in a bloody heap. All you can say is at least he isnt dead.
So the chief says to the second guy....You have TWO choices...BAKA or DEATH! Guy says to self,I'd rather be dead than go through THAT!...so replies...I'LL take DEATH!
The Chief says...He chooses DEATH! The crowd all says OOoooo!!!! The Chief then replies...but FIRST,BAKA!!!!

It's not really an Allergy it's an Auto Immune. Any way yes I have to be careful about cross contamination. I'm learning tho I use non stick foil when I use a cookie sheet. Instead of buying me new cookie sheets, and keeping Dave from using them. Use a different colander , Bought a brand new one deemed Gluten Free.
