Senior bus comes to your house to get you and brings you home. Bus is for all seniors. The trip tomorrow is $1 donation if you can. We buy our lunches, But times they have free picnic lunches on a trip. It is the doctor situation here tha is bad, Small town. Thats an incredible deal.

Senior apts ran by town and the Hospital runs the assisted living and the nursing home is part of hospital. Rumor has it if a doctor sets up an office in this town the hospital/clinic will run them out. Town and county trying to keep seniors from moving .
I making drop biscuits and good but think a bit less oil be better, Very tender.
I should cook chicken to day for supper. I need meat.

It is hospital district and they have a board. Dr Hsu is head doctor. So owner be Hospital District I presume. Voters voted for it. they do have two truck ambulances. We the people own it? We vote on board members. And taxed for it. They do have some doctor that come in her for appts I think. I know come in. They work through the hospital. Special things.
I am still eating left overs. When I open something it is days to finish. Still a couple biscuits and I heat one up at a time. Cook it last days.

It's not the meat, It's the "Stuff" they inject in it and wash it with and everything eles they THINK they have to do to make it grow fast and look perfect!! So they can charge more! They need to get back to basics! It's no wonder people are being self sufficient, growing their own food. Animals and fruits and veggies... Ok i'm done. Sorry!

All the literature I have read put meat and processed meats firmly in the frame for many diseases. If you really want to eat meat stick to lean cuts of fresh meat and avoid the preserved meats.
We had Thai food last night - dinner out in town with a friend. veggie spring rolls Thai Fried Rice and Thai Veggies with basil, sweet chili and seafood

I was just watching dr. Oz. He said 33% of people who smoke die from lung cancer. He compared it to processed meat eaters. People who eat processed meats 1% die of cancer from processed meat. It's the people who eat 12 slices of bacon,6 pieces of ham, 5 pieces of salami, 6 pieces of bologna a day over so many years. So don't worry about it.

Maybe Pearl ate home made bacon a lot of those years. Things worse now than use to be.
