I haven't, just plain ol' sprinkle on salt works for me. Don't want to get to fancy, people might think I am smarter than I am. I can't see the advantage of using a salt block. CF

Yes it is supposed to be full of vitamins and minerals. You can buy it for sprinkling on food.

Chili Farmer I cannot eat regular table salt. It has corn in it. Somehow the iodine in it is infused with corn. So I look for alternatives like sea salt, and possibly a salt block. You can actually cook on it. I think I am going to try it.

I have never used the block but I use the salt all the time .. its good and a bit better for you .. Most of the time they are used for warmers too .. I don't know that I would use it often enough to warrant buying one tho .. Hell I can't even figure out how to use the new stove top / Grill / deep frier / kabob maker /// attachments

Never heard of it before. Some spice blends have corn starch in to keep it from lumping. Lot have salt as main thing. You could get corn there. I am low salt and do not salt much of anything. Beans and gravy. Baking.
