Been hovering near 60 the past few days!  All the snow is gone....However, snow is on the way...again.  It was crap again today..  The snow is slowly going away..still flooding in the river & streams.. |

We are really dry here. Only had about an inch and a half so far this year and most of that was in January. Creeks gone dry and everything brown and looks like no autumn growth before winter which is supposed to be a long cold one.
Bugger.

the sun is finally out today yippee.... Its been foggy for 2weeks we have alot of floooding. They are sand bagging in algona in anticipation of the water comming down from the north. We are not very close to any rivers or streams but our fields are still flooded from all the snow we had.

The fruit trees are all in bloom, yesterday was in the seventies, DH plowed the garden spot for me, and now we are having wind, freeZing rain, and snow is expected....First day of Spring is really a joke on me....

Just a few short weeks ago we had snowdrifts as high as me,6 foot. Today I looked and have onions 3 to 4 inches tall and early flowers are about to bloom. Amazing what a little sun and warm temps do. Didn't have camera with today but Monday will get some pic.

This past week was beautiful, springy & warm. Town was full of bikers yesterday, Now its supposed to rain the rest of the week. oh well, maybe it'll wash away some of the road dirt.

Suppoed to hit 73 today and windy. I gave up working outside. The wind about blew me over with the 40 - 50 mph winds.

62 wonderful degrees and sunny. kinda windy but thats good as we still have some pretty good snowdrifts out there. it's going to reach the 70s by the end of the week then there is a possibility of thunderstorms.. i love a good thunderstorm.. im not real hopeful about getting my tators planted by good friday, my garden is still covered in snow. ya never know though, a few days of sun, wind and warm temps could do the trick.
