Hi all! I'm really sad! I had to throw away loads of pepper plants today!! lucky that I've got 20 plants in the ground already! The stems were ridged and the leaves curled and no sign of creepy crawlies! It's late but I 've sown a few more seeds! woe is me!!! Then again on the bright side ... thanks to Phil's milk spray tip the mildew on the melons seems to be going! AND I have a zucchini that will be ready soon and other plants in the garden are looking great! Sorry for that moan everyone! The up's and down's of a gardener!! All the best

Oh My, sounds like "Phytophthora Blight" to me, which as far as I know, there is no sure cure for, It favors poorly drained soils, and can be brought on by overhead watering, do the dead plants look anything like this?

HI Phil, the plants aren't dying but the top leaves are curling and the stems are badly ridged! on a closer nspection it looks like the planted peppers are going the same way!! thanks for all your help Phil! Could I post a pic to see what you think? PS thanks for the milk spray tip! You are a star! I'm looking on the web but cant find anything!

My pepper plants looked that and have peppers on them. Don't throw them away. I think they will be ok.
