some flowers blooming and trying to break dormancy with all this warm weather we're having. I noticed my loripedulam (sp) blooming, daylillies sprouting up, huckleberry bushes budding out and in town some bearded iris blooming. This is not good, cold weather is still to come. I just hope no more fruit trees try to bud up cuz it will mess up the fruit crops. trudy

really. Same here in Middle TN, daffs about 2 inches tall. Worried about my berries.

Been kind of mild in my area, I don't think the ground even froze yet this year

it's been pretty mild here too. the ground is frozen but the top is still gushy, the gravel roads are crap... i'd rather drive in snow than rutty mud...

I'm sure we'll get some snow in time, have never seen it fail yet as far as winter
