it's no where near spring here, i think it is because we got so much snow early on that the ground was insulated and stayed warm... i wonder what else might have made it through the winter... probally lots of nasty weeds...

Congrats, down south here we saw some parsley coming up... have plenty of onion chives setting and our buttercups are coming up... It's Spring all over .... yippeeeeeeeeeee

well after looking around i see strawberries, sage stonecrop, and dianthus growing.. i don't think they ever died, we got alot of snow early on, they have been sleeping under a big white blanket of snow. i'm a little concerned about it now that alot of the snow has melted with alot of winter yet...

I have been noticing a few things bloomin already. My winter honeysuckle is in full bloom, the daffodills, scillia, my bridalwreath spirea is budding. even my daylillies are getting green sprouts. Down the road a Japanese Magnolia is in full bloom. Last weekend I saw a Loripedulum and Redbuds in full bloom and those were North of me.
I was doing some clean up the other day and noticed my lemon grass with new growth, the chocolate mint, thyme and oregano all pretty and green to. I just hope it doesn't get cold enough to harm them. trudy
