I'm curious about which tomato pholks prefer for frying green. I haven't done a taste test, I just fry whatever looks like it would slice good. I'd like to hear your preferences, please.

I've never really thought about it, like you I just get whatevers ready at the moment. Have u ever tried freezing them for winter use? They do really well. trudy

We grow them Better Boys, they are really round and are easy to fry up..

Trudy, I do freeze them after I roll 'em in corn meal. I freeze them first on a sheet pan, then put in a bag, they don't stick together that way.
