Very nice pens! Birds are great looking too! We have to clean out our barn and fix up the pens before we get our chicks. Spring is nowhere in sight here, just got more snow last night.

Those are some nice looking pens, have a ?,is that a recycled 2 liter bottle? how did you do that? I am hoping to get my laying hens this year, have the pen already just spending so much on the gardens right now it has to wait, does anyone on this forum own a hatchery? If you can ship chicks to Florida(laying hens and meat) then e-mail me at- solarpowerswitch@aol.com,I'd like to give my money to forum people rather then just any hatchery. We would love heirloom varieties.

gardenhappy, those are called pop bottle water founts, i get them and all of my supplies from Doc @ 1st state vet supplies www.firststatevetsupply.com/store/ , and yes i use dasani water bottles. they take a little getting use to but after years of trial and error i have found that they work best for me. the bottle slips into the fount and its graviity fed, i support the fount with my index finger and strech the spring around the bottle. yf egh
