Well, the old caveman had a bit of bad luck sunday.........me and a friend was takein a 4 wheeler ride on a perty day......long story short........i fliped over backwords.......got out of the hospital today......4 or 5 bruised ribs and some squshed inards  Perty much sore as hell all over  , but i'm gonna be ok  Doc said for my age, i got some mitey strong bones.  |

Glad to hear your ok, like most man made toys we have to respect them. Not that you don't, but sometimes we just have to much fun an forget how dangerous they can be.

Thank ya everone fer the well wish's and the reminder that them thangs are dangerous.......i am re-readin my books and have my trainin wheels ordered  Really......i was only goin 2 or 3 mph.........the back wheels slipped down in a gully and right back on top of me it came  I'll be more careful the next time goin thru that spot  |

Glad to here you can move,walk and will heal!!!!  I don't have 1 friend(we all had motercycles) that has not had a trip to the hospital including me!!!! and 3 and 4 wheelers are worse than bikes!!!!!! Man -0- man are you blessed to be o.k.!!!! Gest in time to garden |

Oh Caveman, as a fellow 4 wheeling person, I sure hate to hear that. I am a big chicken on mine. If it looks rough, Hubby comes back and rides it thru and I walk. But of course I don't want him to wreck either, it's just he has more experience than me. I am so glad you are gonna be ok!! Thank God!!
There is a boy that lives a couple miles down the rd who was in a carwreck as a child and can only walk with braces. He is now 19 and is a little slow (mindwise) but very friendly. He can't turn over once he lays down in bed. He has a 4 wheeler and I have always worried about him riding that thing, he can barely walk. Well, a few days ago he flipped it and had a bad cut on his head. But they took the 4 wheeler and had it fixed and he was back riding it today. But at least he had a helmet on.

I'm still kickin, but man do i hurt........the meds the doc gave me don't help at all.....gotta go see him monday, sure hope he gives me somethin stronger........can't sleep layin down, just little cat naps in a chair. |

you gotta remember we are all getting older.. hurts twice as bad and takes 3 times longer to heal.. the stuff the doc gives ya never works.. like grandpa always said "just go out and work it off"  |

Glad you are out of the hospital in one piece ! We are getting older, bumps and bruises hurt alot more.....gonna have to get you a seat belt for that thing with a roll bar.
