* Sigh* Will spring ever get here? We are gearing up for a another blast of old man winter! This storm heading our way is (as they are saying around town) as bad as the blizzard in 1992 on Halloween night! They are talking 12 inches of snow or more! We have a wedding to go to this weekend in southern Minnesota, but I don't think we are gonna make it! Please send me some Spring! I know...............

I fill y'all in on what's going on with us during this Blizzard of the year. (as they calling it) Weatherman says this is just like a hurricane except it's not cuz it's not on water. Well we are in survival mode right now. Our power comes and goes. Right now we have had power for about three hours so far. power went out last night at about 12:30am. We have no worries, we have water in our water containers, we can cook on our wood burning stove, and we have heat with the stove too. We have 7 people in this tiny house right now. Daughter and her family came out here last night, since everyone was warned that the power could go out. Man the grocery store (only one in our town) in our town was going crazy! People were buying can goods, water, pop, snacks, bread ,milk, eggs, diapers, everything people would need. Shelves were looking pretty bare at 6:00pm last night! We have had gale winds all night around 65 miles an hour they said they were blowing. Ken was asked to stay at hospital tonight, in case people can't make it in for their shift. Power went off again. Anyway, he will be staying at hospital tonight. He cut wood last night from the time he got home from work, so we'd have wood for the stove. It's exciting living like this! Kinda fun! Well that's the up date for now!
