We had fresh lettuce, mustard greens, green onions and radishes with bacon grease for supper. Add Mommy's cornbread and that is the best eating ever!!
Hubby has a kettle of soup beans on with pork shank and vinegar in them, they smell so good. Can't wait to dig in.

We had Margo over last Tuesday. She spent the whole day with us. Anyway, we were taking a walk out back of the barn and looking over everything for the goats. Ken was backing up, and stepping on some weeds, and Margo said to him,"Hey don't trample over 'em greens there! You can eat that !" So I picked a bunch of it and then I went over to another part of our pasture and picked some wild chives. Took it all to the house and washed it up. Made a salad and added that green that Margo said you can eat, added the wild chives to the salad. So we had chicken and rice with a salad that was the best ever! This green weed stuff tasted a bit peppery, but it sure added flavor to the salad! I just wish I knew what it was called. Margo couldn't remember the name of it. Sure was good though. She also said you can cook it too. I haven't tried cooking it. I like it raw in my salad! It's dark green ,so it must be good for ya!
