the afternoon just exploded into

bean harvesting, we are already for beans but the beans aren't ready for us yet. we could start by tomarrow or sunday. i just love fall and everything that goes with it. after the crappy summer we had around here every thing looks good for a good harvest. unlike my garden which was pretty much a total loss.
want to see my new toy?

i liked mowing before but now i really like it.. i know it seems ostintaious but i do have about 7 acres to mow. can't have the guys trippin in the tall grass and falling into the augers.
grain prices were crazy high this summer and there was a huge shortage of farm equipment, we tried to by a corn head for the combine nobody has one same with grain wagons. he wanted to get a new pickup but all we can find is exstended cabs. taxes are gonna kill us this year.
