Thanks for all the prayers! My "secretary" (my beautiful blushing bride of 20 years), has more than enough to do already, so dictation is out.
I've found a local guy on Craigslist Macon who rebuilds and sells laptops very reasonably, but the money is just currently NOT in the budget. One friend suggested modifying one of the "roll away bedside tables" like they use at the hospital, to put the monitor, keyboard, and mouse on, so we've got an eye out for one of those on the local Craigslist and Freecycle. I'm a firm believer in Freecycle! In the meanwhile, computer time is limited - it's too hard to keep everything balanced on top of my lovely fat belly.
