We all went over to da Baby Sister's place yesterday for my phamily's Thanksgiving throwdown. Had a coupla hams, turkeys, etc. Collards, turnips, casseroles, sweet tater pies, the whole nine yards (and I think I ate eight of 'em) 
.... Da Honey and I took a big ol' crockpot of chicken and dumplings - I think the gang ate the enamel off'n the pot. We boil the chickens first, remove all the bones and gristle, saving the stock, and then use biscuit dough for the dumplings just like my dear old Momma use to make, God rest her soul. She was there with us in loving memories and spirit - yesterday was the 11th anniversary of her passing.
She always did love to see us kids get together without fussin' and fightin'....
