Hi fifi2, do you have the red breasted kind of robin or the all brown kind like they have in Georgia, or both? I haven't seen any here in Iowa yet, but they are probably around. More will come soon.

Disturbed The Hawk was back again this morning. Im not exactly sure what he is looking for. Next time I will have the camera ready. No bird's have been here since he showed up. I also think all the Red Poll's have taken off. None here the last few day's.

I had a treat yesterday. A grandaughter and I were in a park not far from a tree that had berries left over from last year. We got to see Cedar Waxwings close up for the 1st time. If we walked slowly and carefully they stayed right there. Such pretty birds with cute little faces. : Thumb

How cool. I saw a new bird out in the trees by my house yesterday, but I have no idea what it was. I'm wonderin' if it was maybe a juvenile mocckingbird...that is what it sounded like anyway. Didn't look like one though!

I hear so many different bird calls that I cannot ID. I have tried searching the net to find an audio of bird calls so I could ID them, the only thing I find is some trying to use words to describe a bird call... anyone have a sight like I am looking for??
