Buttercup is due June 3, this is her first calf and our first dairy cow. Up until now we have only had beef cattle. I can't wait for some of that fresh raw Jersey milk MMMmmmm!!!

Very nice looking milk cow you have there. Sure makes me want another one. I loved milking, and I loved making butter and even more so, loved the cream in and on everything. My milk cow was half jersey and half gurnsey (sp?). She was big, and gentle, and gave us a whopping 5 gallons of milk per day, with 1/3 to 1/2 of the gallon jars being cream. Very rich and delicious.
