 I went to town today and our gas prices were $2.49! My daughter saw some gas price as $27.9! I wish I could get the pic off her cell phone. She took a pic of it!

In Macon at Raceway it was down to $2.32 (2 1/2 hrs North), but here its at $2.52 for now. Slowly but surely its going down, thank goodness. I think its cause school has started back and pholks aren't vacationing and traveling so much. IMO. trudy

 $2.31 on the drive home from the airport tonight. Shure is dropping fast. Maybe by next weekend it will be down to $1.99. Wishful dreaming??

Its $2.36 here. Time to fill up! First it was Katrina, then it was the middle East, then it was the Alaskan Pipe Line, They got caught on that one. Giving us a break for a minute. Evil Corporations.....

Yep, they are all excuses and I'm with Trudy, summer is over, ppl aren't travelling as much, so down they come. Good ol' supply and demand~however, its just plain demand, supply has nothing to do with it!!! IMO

Rumor around here is it is gonna be below $2.00 a gallon by Xmas, but come Jan will soar back to over $3 a gallon. Hope the latter is wrong. trudy

Just saw on the news that a gas station in Grand Prairie, suburb of Dallas, was selling regular unlead for $1.99, The owner said he was breaking even and when the tank was empty, he would go back to the regular price. Cars were lined up for blocks.  |
