Life on da Pharm..

Got the ole fencing down that the were in..raked & pile of stuff burning..finished mowing..putzed..tomorrow will be busy as well..

Yup a good time to straiten up and clear out all that good stuff given to us. Got more junk to haul to the dump and burned some wood and branches. Got that wood in early 80's and never found a use for it. It was a wooden walk that goes for a railroad crossing. Mona's aunt , who is 93 and her daughter were out yesterday. Brought out some plants for us to grow for her. She got about 10 pounds of asparagus, 5 pounds of rhubarb, a dozen red raspberry bushes and some black raspberry bushes. Does better at walking then her daughter. She loves the raised bed. Wishes somebody would build her one. hint hint. Maybe next year after get shoulder fixed. Mowed grass till they came. Today will plant about 12 broccoli plants and 4 cherry tomato plants and 30 celery plants that the aunt brought out. Then will just sit back and relax.

i think i'm finally going to get to plant my spinach, radishes and peas.. got some inpatients to plant around my old pine tree, and i'm going to do some mowing..

i probally have to move tractors home too, i think we are going to start planting soybeans here at home, and hopefully lonerock will be dry by the time we are done..

Started out real sunny..then got to lookin like rain..windy..but no rain as of right now..tomorrow they are calling for it..used the antique beast..tilled up area's for raised bed's.. got lot's of thing's planted today..lot's more to go when the time is right..Put together the greenhouse & made it a lil extra sturdy by adding a few pieces..With the here we have to do that.. Got beat up by the farmer's in the feild's dirt Time to shower & retire for the night as 3 a.m. come's way too early for me..

Life on da pharm has been a busy one this week..work..work..work..& one more day of it today..way too wet to do anything outside..in phact it is raining sideway's here with the wind.. It is however making all the lil vegies grow..I love it when I can watch the stuff pop up & know we put it there.. So..I must get my self moving for a day of deliverling supplies in the rain..& re-checking on my new pholk's..so phar so good..

it's awful here.. cold, wet and raining.. much to cold for anything to grow.. (except my lawn) .. this works out perfect for me because, now i can finish off all my indoors projects.. like bethanys room..

Just not the way I wanted to start the weekend off..Upon my morning travel's outdoor's..feeding the katz..Klutz here trip's & fall's..skinning both of my knee's..hurt's like all heck.. I haven't fell in year's..& then when I did it was in the snow..so it didn't hurt..

Brough the baby geese outside today.
They headed right for the creek!
It's fun watching them, for the first time, taking a dip in the creek.
They are a bit skidish around us, but when Annabell comes around the little fellers come running to us fer cover!
Did some mowing today, now someone needs to weed wack.
Not me cuz I always wack my ankles, or knees. Weed wackin' isn't my thing. tried to get into the garden, but it's just too wet still.*sigh* someday!
Laura maybe you need knee pads to wear around da pharm!

Look's like we may be having a lil litter of kitten's here..Nib's looks to be getting plump!!

Going to some more today..we do it in stages since we are here at different time's..got some weeding done yesterday..checked out the wet soggy garden's..got more tator's comming up..& thing's we planted in the newest garden are comming along..we have to get the new garden fenced in then maybe we can let the loose again.. also have to get the rest of the vegies in..if it isn't too cold..

is nibsy expecting? i'm so excited!! you may have to show her what to do at first.. or she may hide them and do just fine on her own...

i finally got bethanys room done.. is really looks nice.. she is thrilled... i mowed some yesterday.. and of coarse the ever present weeding..
today i weeded, of coarse. and planted some more onions, peas and radishes, also some cukes.. after lunch i'm going to put in some summer squash.. and of coarse weed..

She sure look's to be..how long does it take once her tummy start's getting phat? I dont remember how long it takes??
Long day here for both of us..so got to make this short..CSI is on..between the 2 of us we put in 24 hour's today..no doubt the same tomorrow..

when she has them & hopfully it will be close to home..so we dont have to look all over you can surely have one..no doubt yetti is the papa..so the kitten could be..long haired black & white with blue eye's..short hair creme color like her..blue eye's..long hair creme color..brown eye's..or a mix.. at any rate..they will be cute..

welp, we got all the beans in at home, though a serious of unfortunate events we are moving to LR today... yesterday he ran over the center post in the shed and ripped the tire on the big pickup.. oh crap i should have taken a pic.. this is going to turn out to be 'the year of tire trouble' ......i gotta run to the store, go pay a bill , and then finish mowing my lawn.. i will accually have it all knocked down at the same time.. for probally the only time this year, if it was anything like last year.. they say it's gonna be drier..gotta get my new garden plot tilled.. then i'm free to putter and plant... i've got peppers, mators, green beans squash, mellons, and phunny phootball phruit to plant.

Well today on da pharm, we let the Cornish Crosses out of the barn to free range. Those silly birds would rather just lay by the feeders and eat all day long!
We had to carry each and everyone out of the barn! Silly birds!

My four year old granddaughter is spending the day with me, so she and I are going to be planting the tators. It was raining off and on all morning. Now the sun is out, but it's windy....can't win!

We did some more ..going to plant some then feed the & move em..I think they like being rolled around the yard.. Lil Nib's sure like's to help us..she is right there..where ever we are rolling around..purring..
