When doing your Christmas cards this year, take one card and send it to this address. If we pass this on and everyone sends one card, think of how many cards these wonderful special people who have sacrificed so much would get.
A Recovering American Soldier
c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center
6900 Georgia Avenue, NW
Washington , DC 20307-5001
They have given us so much.....let's give a little back.

Just FYI- I found out from a friend that Walter Reed and the USPS will be rejecting cards addressed like this. As an alternative- try going here- Red Cross Mail for Heroes! Sorry to change it, but wanted our men and women to get their cards. Makes me furious that the USPS and Walter reed are not delivering the other ones. How hard is it for the hospital to just put one card in each soldier's room?? Go figure....
