Glad you had back up heat and a way to cook. We were worried about losing our power cause we had a kerosene heater and no kerosene.

i think it's fun when the power goes out. So do Cavey and I... But when you have a 4 year old that has No Clue why He can't watch his Favorite Cartoon and Why "WE" won't let him turn on the lights etc.. He thought he was being Punished for something, we felt so bad for the kid.. Not only is he stuck in the House with his OLD And Ancient Parents, Now he has to suffer through this Tradgedy, According to our Oldest Girl... LOL "Tragedy" If these kids only Knew what a Tragedy really was.. God forbit, No TV or Computer for 48-72 hours... Well, Cavey and I can sympathize with the NO Computer PART.. We Were going through Withdrawals for that too.. LOL Cavey and I used to do Every Sunday Evening after Dark without Electric, Back in our Hay day-Before the Critter's came along. When Our Oldest was a teen, we made her suffer through it.. LOL After Dinner on Sunday evening we would shut off everything electric and Light the Oil Lamps and turn on our Battery operated Radio to the Blue grass station that was airing from 6pm til 9pm and we'd just sit and listen. If our teen wanted to do something, she Read a Book by Oil Lamp light or a Flash Light. She laughs about it now but she says It drove her nuts. LOL most of the time she went to a friends house until we turned the electric back on.. but Oh well. We loved it.. You could hear everything and soak up your surroundings.. Cavey Loved it most. I just loved the Piece and Quiet that I remember.. Ahhhhh to have that back again. To get that though, I'd have to stick a Sock in Cavey's mouth and wrap him up in Some Duck-Tape these days..Hahahahahahaha
