Well, here it is that time of year again....and Santa's Old Elf was not going to disapoint the little ones that need our help again this year, presents needed to be delivered, so with the help of two other elfs, one old and one young, the old pick-up, and loaded down with gifts from this little town with the biggest heart in Texas, the old Elf with a new stint in his heart managed to get all the gifts delivered to waiting families all over town. The old Elf is ten pounds lighter this month, so that is great news....he still cannot lift over five pounds per Dr. orders, but that did not stop the old Elf from his appointed duties from Santa...The and tears are such a reward from those who are on the receiving end, and there are such big hearts in town, in times of hardship, who still come through for those in need. I love this little town, even with the few old Grinches that mess up my life from time to time. I think of the family that may only have their child to share Christmas for just this year, he is very ill and nothing more can be done, and I thank God for foster families who have such big hearts, the children in their care are so blessed, Yes, this little town does raise it's children, and everyone elses is watched over and protected as well...and one family donated twelve bicycles in the name of their deceased loved one....Wow, talk about the Spirit of Christmas...it is still alive and living in our little town...Hope you have a joyous Christmas this year.

Yep your right, grannyg. We do everything big in Texas, including the miles and miles of 'Rolling Thunder' motorcycles, rolling down the highways delivering the much needed toys to the less privliaged and sick kids. I just love to see them as they go by.
