Da Honey and I had Ham, Collard Greens, Mashed 'Taters, Pinkeye Purplehull peas and Rolls. No pepper sauce, since neither my system or hers will tolerate it. It was some good eatin', and the nap afterwards was wonderful....

We grilled steaks too, new years eve, at my Dad's. The temps. weren't to bad but there was a strong wind from the south that made it really cold. We grilled in the garage, that helped but it was still cold. We also had baked potatoes with onion wedges, baked on the grill and asparagus and garlic bread. We would have liked to have had the asparagus on the grill too but ran out of room. We didn't do the black eyed peas for new year, no one will eat them but me.

We grilled on New year's Eve and it was cold ;D But most of us stayed inside and let the men handle the cold and the grill. Had a ton of food. Tenderloin, chicken, chicken and dumplings, blackberry dumplings, stuffing, rice and hamburger casserole, grilled cabbage, grilled onions, grilled potatoes and more. And good cold beer. It was 10 degrees when we were grilling but we had a bonfire first and it was about 1 am when the food came off the grill. We actually had breakfast for supper on New Year's Day. Gravy, Biscuits, sausage, bacon, and eggs. But I would have rather had black eyed peas. I love them.
