Tomorrow we will be making beans and ham hocks.

I was a pipe liner or pipe fitter as some call it. We did strictly natural gas pipe work. I don't know what type work your husband does but the hours he is working I know lots about that. I'm glad I"m not out there anymore it has taken it tool on my body.Feed him well he definitely deserves all the good things you can do for him.

Gosh Jc I remember my friend coming home from work and just exhausted !!! Depending on the job he had. I mean I know Dave is a hard worker, and sometimes his job demands some alot of physical labor but not like a pipe fitters labor. Dave by trade Tool and Die, Think he calls himself Die maker. We had some spaghetti last night. I made the sauce out of my canned tomatoes and it was sooo good! I didn't eat any noodles just the meat sauce and cheese I made a list of what meals were going to have this week and now I can't find it. LOL I think tonight will be beef and noodles ...

We are not cooking anything exciting so far,but when Ruth get a tenderloin I usually marinate it and then smoke it with apple and hickory wood. Then cut it into chops.
W8in4dave: Pipe fitting as you call it is definitely hard work. I started in that job when I was 22 years old and left at 47 years of age by then I was a foreman but still worked hard. For the remaining 15 years I was a manager for two different Engineering firms and then a major builder (Lennar). Most of the people I worked with doing pipe liner work are dead, most with cancer. Not very healthy line of work. I don't regret working hard, but I do regret getting into that line of work. But then all I saw was $$$$$.

We made chicken breasts in a tomato mushroom white whine cream sauce with egg less noodles. It was good....our own concoction. That sounds really good. Tonight it's meatloaf, limas, salad.
