Sat night we went to a friends for BBQ'd ribs, made my own bbq sauce he used our smoker ,the grates were spotless so I didn't have to but my ribs in foil! just cannot touch everyone else's . So I got the top rack no ones juices drip on mine. (It;s a Pita!) But my friends are sweet! We also have some potatoes with capers and cheese, veggie tray with homemade dip, Sweet hot pickles. Avocado dip I didn't get any of pfft! Wrapped up asparagus I forget whith the cut of meat was, Kinda like canadian bacon but wasn't. One of the great things about a cook out is there is so much food you take it home and have it for dinner the next day! Last night Dave had veggie tray stuff for dinner! lol

DIL said the French fry potatoes the instructions were in Japanese. You get odd things at food pantry. Chicken in bag and frozen. She what it was and told I think chicken leg qtrs. That is what they give . I asked if her mother was going to raise chickens this year and said no. Last two times I have been sharing with them.
Supper is chicken, green beans and fried potatoes. I will heat up a dinner roll too. maybe slice of pound cake or a chocolat chip bar cookie.

Supper roasted turkey leg and green beans and mashed potatoes. I get Gluten Free bread at krogers. It's small also, and cost almost 6 bucks! I'ts half the size of a regular loaf! Took some to my daughters Me, her and 3 kids had a sandwich and no more bread! That was 1 loaf! ugh! Aggravating !!!

My daughter says, your making hash brown cakes? I said well yea! She's like wow! I am standing here learning alot! Cuz I grate the potatoes put them in water, squeeze them out, add an egg or so, and fry them up! she's like mine are brown and kinda gross looking, Rick will be happy I learned this! spuds, I know you're asking Colorado, but around here you don't have to prove a financial need for a food pantry. We have one at our church and while we keep enough records so that people can only come once a month, we don't ask for financial information. And at work when we send someone for food the food place takes my word for it that the family has a need. The places we send to for work now require a form with a business card attached of the referring place because people were bringing multiple family members to get groceries so they were giving to people who were giving it to other people and we found out one family was taking what they were given and selling it in their La Tienda. Sad people are that way.

And yes,I have had my fill of the free 'crap' army(FSA) and their 'entitlements',and even then it isnt enough, they have to steal too.Yes,world is filled with lowlife,im sick of em.
